GENERAL:

WHAT IS IT THAT YOU DO EXACTLY?

I am the sole proprietor of a design studio based in Santa Fe, NM and Minneapolis, MN that specializes in wayfinding and environmental signage, graphic design, and content creation. We work on print and digital design projects, from business cards, posters, product packaging, advertising, to logos, lite animation and digital campaigns. We offer full scope social media management, creative direction and content creation. We also make the coolest signs, from architectural signage to retail and merchandising signage. Keep reading for more info on all of these.

IS THERE ANYTHING THAT YOU DON’T DO?

We don’t build websites. That said, we are happy to create content and branding design for your website.

I’M NOT IN SANTA FE OR MINNEAPOLIS, CAN WE STILL WORK TOGETHER?

Yes! We often work remotely with clients. Get in touch to discuss your projects, and we can sort out the details over email or phone.

DESIGN // BRANDING:

HOW DO YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA PACKAGES WORK?

We will tailor it to suit your needs. In general we offer content creation and social media management packages that are Instagram focused, with options for weekly (2-3 times a week) and daily (5-7 times a week) content.

IF YOU DESIGN MY LOGO, HOW MANY VERSIONS WILL I GET TO CHOOSE FROM?

After we discuss your project, we will create a custom logo for you based on what you are looking for in a logo. For most of our clients, we design one well designed and considered logo, with a few color variations. Then we share it with you, get your feedback and make any desired revisions.

CAN YOU DESIGN MY PACKAGING AND THEN HELP ME FIND A PLACE TO GET IT MADE AND PRINTED?

Yes! We do this all the time for clients. We can work with you on product development as well as your designs. We love seeing a design project go from start to finish.

FABRICATION // SIGNAGE :

DO YOU ACCEPT ANY FABRICATION PROJECTS OTHER THAN SIGNAGE?

We specialize in gallery and storefront signage, but we also offer environmental design services. We’ve also built trade show displays and permanent retail displays. Shoot us an email with what you are thinking.

IF I ALREADY HAVE A DESIGN, WILL YOU FABRICATE IT FOR ME?

Yes! As much as we love all design opportunities I (Kelsi) am a fabricator who appreciates other people's design work. We will still guide you in the process to make sure that your intended use of materials and design is properly translated into a physical product.

CAN YOU SHIP?

In most cases, yes. We will ship or deliver, depending on the installation requirements.

DO YOU PROVIDE FOLLOW-UP MAINTENANCE AND/OR REPAIR?

We can recommend a local company to carry out maintenance and repair if necessary.

DETAILS:

HOW LONG DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?

Because of the nature of custom design, many variables can determine the length of the process. Generally we estimate about a month for signage projects, and up to three months for most design projects.

CAN YOU EXPEDITE MY PROJECT?

In many cases, yes. Please let us know at the start of your project if there is a date that you need work completed by. There may be additional fees for rush service.

WHAT FILES WILL YOU NEED FROM ME?

All projects are different, but we will most commonly need vector files. For signage projects, we will also request site photos and building plans (if available). Logos should be supplied as vector art.If your logo or artwork was design by a professional graphic designer, you should have received it in one of the following formats:.pdf, eps, ai,.svg. If you don't have access to any of these, we may be able to rebuild it as vector art for a fee. Common formats that are not vector are:.jpg,.tiff,.psd,.png, .gif. (combined with the what is vector art section)

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY ON ARTWORK REVISIONS?

We encourage our clients to give any feedback or direction they see fit. We offer 3 revisions before additional hourly fees are applied. Please note that any revisions may add to the overall time it takes to complete the project.

WHEN WILL I BE BILLED?

Upon project approval. We will begin work on your project once we receive a deposit, which is 50% of the estimate unless otherwise negotiated prior to any exchange of currency. The balance is due at the time of project completion.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

As we are a small business, we are unable to offer refunds for work completed. However, we want you to to be happy with the finished product so we offer many opportunities throughout the design process for you to approve your project.

WILL I OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE CREATIVE YOU COME UP WITH?

Yes. We will release all intellectual property rights once payment is made in full and we have been notified of your intentions for the use of the artwork.
